Solutions for real New Zealand visa problems

Every New Zealand visa case is different.
This page shows structured solutions based on real issues applicants face including refusal risks, insufficient evidence, bona fide concerns, partnership proof gaps, AEWV employer or job-check problems, student compliance issues and visitor visa ties.

Complex and refused cases

Section 61 request and status repair

Section 61 is used when an applicant becomes unlawful or overstays. INZ checks personal history, intent, ties to New Zealand, and the reason the unlawful status occurred. A credible explanation and consistent evidence are essential to avoid dismissal of the request.

    PPI explanation and evidence structure

A PPI letter shows INZ has serious concerns about credibility, relationship authenticity, employment correctness or documentation reliability. A structured reply with verified facts, dates and supporting evidence is crucial to avoid refusal.

Attendance drop or academic progress concerns

INZ checks attendance, academic performance, funding authenticity, course changes and genuine student intent. If conditions were breached, explanations must be factual, consistent and supported with documents.

Visitor visa refusal analysis and rebuild

Most refusals relate to weak ties, unclear travel purpose, unstable income or concerns about returning home. A credible explanation supported by strong ties and financial documents is required to reapply successfully.

    Bona fide and character concerns

INZ assesses intent to comply with visa conditions, travel purpose, financial capacity and past immigration history. Any inconsistency can trigger refusal or PPI. A credible narrative and supporting documents are required.

    Partnership evidence assessment

INZ reviews shared living, communication patterns, financial support, family awareness, travel history and long-term commitment. Missing joint bills or no rental agreement does not automatically cause refusal, but the evidence must be consistent and credible across all documents.

AEWV job check and accreditation risks

Most AEWV issues come from duty mismatch with ANZSCO, incorrect pay, accreditation problems, unclear job descriptions or inconsistencies between the employment agreement and job check. These must match INZ verification procedures to avoid delays or PPI.
